2016 Judges Symposium in W. SacramentoDate: January 16, 2016
Time: 10 am - 3 pm Location: The Club Pheasant 2525 Jefferson Blvd. West Sacramento, CA 95691 (CLICK FOR MAP) This is your opportunity to renew your certification to be a judge, or for those who might be interested in becoming a novice judge. (To be a novice judge you must be a current member of the American Camellia Society. Information here.) We will be holding this meeting at The Club Pheasant restaurant (link to map above), and a buffet lunch will be available, so please RSVP if you plan to attend. Our thanks go out to Nick Clark and Cindy Cook for tackling this task in the past, and our thanks now go to Shelly Bort, who took over in the middle of the 2014/2015 season. In January of 2015 - Shelly created us an entirely brand new (beautiful!) website and has taken on all its responsibilities, as well as now serving as the photographer for our society and website.

In the month of February, 3 Northern California Camellia Societies presented their shows for judging and the public's enjoyment. The first show of the season was held February 7 at the Meadows of Napa Valley, organized by the Napa Camellia Society. After the lunch, we had our council meeting in their dining hall which was well represented by all the Northern California Clubs.
